The Sonic drive-in at 8359 W. Deer Valley Road in north Peoria permanently closed Oct. 30.
A flyer at the location thanked their employees, saying with a “heavy heart” the business has officially closed, and thanked the employees for their hard work, dedication and contributions over the years.
“You have been an important part of our business, and we recognize that this news brings uncertainty and challenges for everyone. As you look toward your next opportunity, please know that we are here to help. We may be able to assist some of you with placement at other locations and I encourage you to reach out to discuss the opposites that may be available. We understand how difficult this situation can be and we want to do what we can do to help you find your next opportunity. Thank you for being part of our team and everything you have contributed. We sincerely wish each of you success in the next chapter of your career,” the flyer states.
