Glendale Prep girls volleyball has not experienced a season like this one or a home match like the one on Oct. 29 since 2018.

That was the last year the Griffins played for a state championship. This fall, a very different team and coaching staff led the Griffins to a 17-1 regular season and top 4 finish.

Glendale Prep was ranked No. 4 in 2A entering Thursday’s showdown with No. 3 Chandler Prep. The Griffins won in a five-set thriller, squeaking by 15-13 in the fifth set.
