Two projects, among 9 in Valley, affect Chandler weekend travel

PHOENIX – Work begins Friday night on nine freeway projects that will close lanes and restrict traffic through the weekend.

The Arizona Department of Transportation on Thursday announced the following work from Friday night, Sept. 18, until Monday morning, Sept. 21:

Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) will be closed between Cooper and Alma School roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project.
