Early results in for Chandler's six Nov. 3 ballot questions

Results have gone live for Maricopa County Elections, with significant early results for Chandler's six Nov. 3 ballot questions.

Question 1 on Chandler ballots would grant a franchise to Arizona Public Service Company, or APS. The agreement would allow the utility to construct, maintain and operate its electrical system in the city-owned public rights-of-way.

So far, among the first 66,000 votes reported, 31,829 votes, or 57.59%, are for the franchise, while 23,440, or 42.41%, are against it.
