The next EPIC business mixer is heading to Morton's The Steakhouse, inside the Desert Diamond Casino, just outside Surprise.

The growing business networking event will be at Morton's, 8200 N. Sarival Ave., Waddell, from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Attendees who bring a $15 door prize will receive 30 seconds of “spotlight time” to highlight their business to the crowd.

Organizers of the event, which include Greg Garcia of Independent Newsmedia, recommend owners bring business cards.

The West Valley Regional Chamber, which was formerly the Southwest Valley Chamber, is co-sponsoring the event. The chamber also reaches businesses in Avondale, El Mirage, Goodyear, Litchfield Park and Tolleson.

Garcia, who is also a commercial real estate agent with West USA Realty; Cassandra Salamone with Cassandra Sold It; and Raymond E. Grim with American Family Insurance are organizers of the periodic EPIC events in the West Valley.
