Surprise residents’ long municipal hunger nightmare is over.

After six years atop the city of Surprise’s annual retail survey for most desired restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory is coming to the city.

Economic Development Director Jeanine Jerkovic dramatically revealed the news to the city council on Sept. 15 by spoofing the movie and TV show “Mission: Impossible” to make the announcement.
