The latest beautification project orchestrated by the Sun City PRIDES is the updated landscape of the median on 99th Avenue from Bell Road north to Del Webb Boulevard and Lindgreen Avenue.
The refreshed median effort included the removal of the old gravel and the installation of more than 400 tons of saddle brown decorative rock.
The project began June 20 and was completed July 31. The Sun City PRIDES is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that works all year to keep the over 200 miles of streets, parkways and medians in Sun City neat and clean.
