Sun City officials discuss break-ins, speeding and more

The Sun City Home Owners Association held its first Roads and Safety Committee meeting of the new season Sept. 16 to discuss Sun City happenings and provide updates from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputy Bill Cornwell announced 233 traffic stops were made in the Sun City area during July, leading to 101 citations.

“He’s the only traffic car we have at this point in time,” Cornwell said. “He stays pretty busy.”
