Sun City Fire and Medical yet to receive tax money

The Sun City Fire and Medical Department held its monthly meeting Aug. 25 to discuss finances and July statistics, among other topics.

According to Finance Director Gabe Buldra, the department still has not received tax statements from Maricopa County. At the June meeting, he said the total tax levy was at $16,296,190.

“We are working to try to figure out what’s going on in the county,” Buldra said.
