The Veterans Service Committee of Sun City Elks Lodge #2559 organized an ice cream social Aug. 19 at the Arizona State Veterans Home, where they provided personal and recreational supplies to the residents. The group will also host veterans from MANA House and Ashley’s Place for an evening of recognition and dinner with lodge members Friday, Sept. 18, at the lodge’s POW/MIA dinner.
