Peoria High home football game moves to Centennial

The opening three-game homestand for Peoria Panthers football hit a bit of a snag earlier this week.

During a Peoria High School band practice Sept. 8, a bay of lights at Jantzen Field caught fire, Peoria Coach Jason Golden stated in an email.

Peoria Athletic Director Josh Moore immediately looked to the school less than two miles north. Centennial High School will play host to Peoria's game against visiting Tucson Sahuaro, kicking off at 7 p.m. tonight (Sept. 10).
