Kellis and Cactus did not start playing flag football at the AIA level in 2025 like the rest of the Peoria Unified School District.
Cactus is not playing this year. Things appeared to be touch and go at Kellis until late in the summer break.
"It was a fun and fast process putting this team together. I got hired in late June right before going on vacation and had no ability to be in contact with any players until we had a short three day voluntary mini camp the week before school started," Coach Michael Grant stated in an email "I had a great group of girls come out for the camp and most have stuck with it and stayed out here. We have lost a few and had many come out too late to join, so hopefully in the future we will have multiple levels for flag football."
