The town of Gilbert is looking for volunteers to help at the 15th annual Gilbert Water Festival.

This two-day event brings together Gilbert fourth- graders to learn about water conservation, the water cycle, and sustainability through hands-on activities on the Civic Center Lawn.

The Water Festival will take place from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 24-25  at the Gilbert Civic Center, 50 E. Civic Center Drive.

In 2024, more than 1,600 students participated in the festival.

The town is calling on the community to volunteer and assist with interactive lessons and activities.

Volunteer training is mandatory for those who have not volunteered before and will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at Gilbert Public Works room 158, 900 E. Juniper Ave., Gilbert.

Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided for all volunteers at the festival. Volunteers can register here.
