Women's empowerment seakers May 9 in Chandler

The City of Chandler’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division invites community members to attend the third annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, May 9, at the Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave., according to a news release.

This year’s keynote speaker is Nicole Lance, an internationally certified coach known for guiding individuals and teams through courageous transformations. Lance specializes in coaching, speaking, facilitating and leading women’s leadership development programs and is the author of three books.

Following the keynote, a panel of female leaders will share their personal and professional experiences, offering insights on resilience, leadership and success. Panelists include:

  • Justice Maria Elena Cruz, Arizona Supreme Court
  • Azra Hussain, President, Islamic Speakers Bureau of Arizona
  • Jody Jackson, MLB, sports broadcaster
  • Miss Indian Arizona 2024-2025 Isabella Kara Newman

Seating is limited and advance registration is required. Priority will be given to those who reside, work or volunteer in Chandler.
