Playing bingo on a Friday night is just one of the many ways the Freedom Traditional Academy Parent-Teacher Association keeps families engaged and connected to the school in Surprise.
Fifth-grader Isaac was happy to become a double winner at Friday Nite Lite Bingo, Sept. 25. He was in a room full of families with students playing together. Some parents brought their babies so they would not miss out on the fun of yelling: “bingo!”
Many parents and students focused on their cards, waiting for the moderator, Erick Parks, to announce the sequence of their winning numbers.
