Valley Vista students cook up leadership skills

Five Valley Vista High School Culinary Family, Career and Community Leaders of America officers represented the school at the Arizona FCCLA Chapter Leadership Camp.

The students participated in leadership sessions and color team challenges focused on communication, collaboration and teamwork. They developed their leadership skills, which will be used at Valley Vista for the upcoming school year.

The school also recognized Chef Christopher Rivera (co-advisor), Chef Matthew Langenbach (co-advisor) and Sandra Wardell (chaperone) for their support in making the experience possible. Matt Dawson served as the main advisor.
