Surprise Economic Development Director Jeanine Jerkovic has always wanted to be part of a flash dance mob, where a group of people arrange to gather suddenly in a public place to perform a dance act.
“But the opportunity has never presented itself,” Jerkovic said “You see them on movies or whatever and you think, ‘Oh, yeah, that’s so fun.’”
Thanks to one of Jerkovic’s staffers, however, that dream became reality when the city cut the ribbon on the Spark Surprise business hub in City Center on Oct. 1.
