Greene-Placentia headed to CD 8 general election

The primary election for 2026 is on July 21.

It appears Bernadette Greene-Placentia is heading to the general election for Congressional District 8.

She is hoping to unseat incumbent Rep. Abe Hamedeh from the reliably red district, that covers a good portion of the Northwest Valley, including Peoria, Sun City, Sun City West, Glendale, Surprise, and parts of Phoenix.

The district also extends north to include New River and surrounding areas near Lake Pleasant.
