Members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More club (SPAM) keep cool in summer workshops.
Linda Cherry taught a class on making a clear window greeting card. Members personalized their cards by stamping personal greetings on the inside of the card and embellishing the outside with die cut shapes, ribbon or stamped images. Residents can create papercrafts, cardmaking or scrapbooks. The club meets 4-9 p.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursdays, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays, at the Beardsley Recreation Center Agave Room, 2755 W. Beardsley Road.
