The R. U. O.K. (Are You Okay) Program is a simple way for residents to remain safe inside the home, and all it takes is one scheduled call a day from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department Communications Division, the program “provides peace of mind for both participants and their families.”
This program ensures a resident enrolled in this program will get a call at the same time everyday. This includes an automated message asking the recipient to press a certain number if they are okay. If the resident doesn’t answer on the first call, the computer will try two more times.
