Monitors keep Sun City West Club running smoothy

Posted

An important function at the Ceramic West Club is having monitors. They work with the officer of the day to keep the club open and running smoothly. The front desk monitor is responsible for sales, which includes greenware, brushes and glaze. The kiln room monitor is responsible for checking member’s pieces in and out of the firing room. It is important to have two monitors working each four hour shift. Jeanne Driessen and Janet Fyles are trainers for new members. The benefit of being a monitor is free kiln firings. Every monitor is an integral part of the team at the club. Pictured are Stephanie Klein, Patti Holman and Judi Mecham. Ceramic West is located next to Member Services at the R.H. Johnson center.
