Members of a Sun City West church donated more than 24 quilts to Benevilla to benefit various programs.

Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 W. Spanish Garden Drive, has a small group of people who love to sew and serve others and began sewing quilts.

Member Jill Kratzer said after retiring from a 30-year professional career, she began serving as a hostess at Birt’s Bistro at Benevilla, then moved to delivering hot meals, taking people on grocery store runs and doctor visits.
