Tripp: Old plan does not address current needs in Sun City

Posted

We have been unable to attend Recreation Centers of Sun City meeting but wanted to share two points.

1. The “new” Fairway Center building has not come close to being at full capacity only two-tenths of a mile away from Mountain View Center.

2. The proposed expense is unnecessary while existing facilities can and do need renovations.

The 7-year-old plan is past any reasonable expectation as to its reflecting true current needs of the Sun City Community. At the very least, it should be revisited and a new study recommissioned to validate such a large proposed expense.

We’d like to invite our readers to submit their civil comments, pro or con, on this issue. Email AZOpinions@iniusa.org.
