Doing Grief Community Healing Project will offer two creative writing workshops inviting people to play with words, explore creativity and express stories and experiences that matter to them.
“Word Play to Bring Joy, Connection, and Healing” will be noon–2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, and Thursday, Sept. 24, at Banner Olive Branch Senior Center, 13049 N. 103rd Ave. Led by author, poet and songwriter Shea Darian, the workshops are open to everyone from experienced writers to those who have never written more than a letter or grocery list.
“We’ll use creative writing exercises to make writing easy and fun,” Darian said.
