Sixteen Recreation Center of Sun City clubs have reached a milestone of longevity and are celebrating 60 years this month.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club, Oakmont Lawn Bowl Club and Garden Club were chartered in 1960.

Garden club member interests are varied, ranging from raising fruit and vegetables to flower and rose gardening and to xeriscape practices using succulents and drought-resistant plants.
