Sections of 6 Valley freeways close for weekend work

(ADOT)

Closures are scheduled along six freeways and ramps this weekend, state transportation officials said Thursday.

Drivers should allow extra travel time and use detours at these locations from Friday night, Nov. 6 until Monday morning, Nov. 9:

Loop 101 eastbound will be closed between 51st and 27th avenues for a widening project from 10 p.m. Friday to - 5 a.m. Monday.
