Fountain Hills Sweet Corn Market welcomes all June 1

The Sweet Corn Market is held every Saturday in Fountain Hills from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Tractor Supply Company parking lot.

The 11th annual Sweet Corn Market opens Saturday, June 1, at Tractor Supply Company in Fountain Hills from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
As in the past, the Sweet Corn Market will feature freshly picked sweet corn from Mesa and handpicked homegrown tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, assorted melons, squash, baby potatoes, fire-roasted chilies and more.
The market runs every Saturday in June.
Live music will rotate every week as well as food trucks for breakfast and lunch including Batchelor’s Pad BBQ, Kade’s Deja Brew, Cuties Lemonade and BunnyBee Ice Cream.
The second and fourth Saturdays in June are “Kids Fun Farm Day,” where ponies/horses, baby goats and other farm animals will be available to visit and pet. On these days, kids can also plant flowers to take home inside Tractor Supply.
Vendors at the Sweet Corn Market include Black Orchard Farms, Wiki-licious Donuts, The Tiny Kitchen, Prickly Pear Teas, Sonoran Scavengers, The Tamale Store and Noble Bread, which takes pre-orders by phone by calling or texting 480-227-6113 until noon the Thursday before the Market.
Other vendors include High Heels & Vegetable Peels, Sahara Turkish Coffee, Buenos Aires Empanadas, Avocado Products, AZ Farm Grow and Lumpia Queen of AZ.
The market will include a few sweet treats including B Naked Chocolates, Paris Rendez-Vous and Sweet Trends, along with a pet stand by Paws Choose Us.
The Fountain Hills High School football players will be on hand at the Sweet Corn Market weekly to help carry customers’ watermelons and any other heavy bags to their vehicles.
Tips are appreciated and go toward the Falcon Football Summer Training Camp.
Market visitors are asked to bring their own recycle bags to use throughout the market and to return any empty egg cartons to High Heels & Vegetables Peels for recycling.
If the Tractor Supply parking lot is full, visitors are asked to use the parking lot across the street on Monterey Drive. Directional signs are posted at the market’s main entrance (closest to Monterey Drive) and exit closest to the Tractor Supply store.
Vendors have different schedules over the summer so visitors should ask their favorite vendors which Saturdays they are in Fountain Hills.
