A 2-year-old girl died Saturday after falling into a backyard pool, Phoenix police said.
Officers responded to a call about 4:30 p.m. June 15 near 21200 North 34th Drive and were joined by Phoenix Fire Department personnel to find Celeste Molina, 2, being given CPR by family members after she was found in the pool.
She was taken to a hospital but did not survive, according to a release.

A 2-year-old girl died Saturday after falling into a backyard pool, Phoenix police said.
Officers responded to a call about 4:30 p.m. June 15 near 21200 North 34th Drive and were joined by Phoenix Fire Department personnel to find Celeste Molina, 2, being given CPR by family members after she was found in the pool.
She was taken to a hospital but did not survive, according to a release.
Detectives stated in the release that preliminary information suggests “that this incident is consistent with an accidental drowning. At this time, there is nothing that investigators have found that appears suspicious.”
