The event will be 3-7:10 p.m. Monday, March 6, at the Arizona Heritage Center at Papago Park, 1300 N. College Ave. in Tempe.

Gov. Katie Hobbs will deliver remarks at 4:30.

The event will include a screening of “2020 Chaos and Hope,” a documentary thattakes viewers through the dramatic events that unfolded in 2020, bringing us face-to-face with the riveting moments of the year,”  a release announcing the event stated.

While the event is free and open to the public, theater space for the film screening is limited, and registration is recommended.

The Compassion Drawing event with artist Tina Rath will start promptly at 3 p.m.

Those who lost loved ones to COVID-19 can bring pictures to be added to an altar at the event.
