Board of Supervisors sets public hearing for e-bike and e-scooter ordinance

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors set a date for a public hearing on an ordinance concerning electric bicycles and electric scooters during its meeting on Wednesday.

The agenda item passed through the consent agenda, and the board set a Nov. 4 date for the public hearing to hear comments on the proposed ordinance.

The ordinance would regulate electric bicycle, electric miniature scooter, and electric standup scooter usage within Maricopa County.
