Goodyear man and father reported missing four days apart

Posted

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Goodyear man and his father after each was reported missing just days apart in early July.

Goodyear resident Dalton Holvig, 25, was last seen by family members at his residence near Citrus and Roosevelt Road July 10.  Dalton reportedly had an injury to his leg.

The man’s father, 51-year-old Chad Holvig, was reported missing July 6 after leaving his house July 4 in Tonopah to visit his son. Chad has not been heard from by his family since, which is reportedly unusual behavior.

Chad was last seen driving a 1999 black Dodge Durango.  July 4 surveillance images show what Chad was wearing when he left Tonopah  to see his son Dalton.

Chad Holvig’s niece and other family members have taken to Facebook to elicit help for their missing family members via a group.

“Thank you all for joining in helping my family and I during this extremely rough time,” Kayla Sue Holvig wrote. “ I am hoping that by joining together we will have a better chance finding my uncle Chad! I’d like to use this group to share updates with you, spread awareness about Chad's disappearance, and also receive information if you have any. Thank you!”

If you have seen either or know of their whereabouts, the MCSO is asking for tips at 602-876-1011, reference report #IR23017982.
