Dairy Queen fundraiser to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital
Posted
On Thursday, July 28, Dairy Queen will celebrate its annual Miracle Treat Day benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a nonprofit that raises funds for children’s hospitals across the country.
Throughout the Valley, and central and northern Arizona, $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at more than 82 participating locations will benefit the local CMN hospital, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, according to a release.
Since 1984, the DQ brand has raised nearly $160 million for CMN Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada through fundraising efforts, including Miracle Treat Day and other local initiatives, the release states.
The participating DQs are striving to surpass the 2022 Miracle Treat Day goal, which is $90,000, for the Hope Fund at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The Hope Fund is a critical source of funding for the areas of greatest need at Phoenix Children’s. Resources from the Hope Fund help Phoenix Children’s respond to advances in pediatric health care that directly benefit patients including state-of-the-art technology and equipment, innovative clinical programs and family-centered care, the release states.
