Peoria’s Bubba’s 33 will celebrate Shark Week through Tuesday, July 18, by partnering with the Shark Research Institute and donating a percentage of every Shark Bite drink purchased to the organization.
“More than 100 million sharks are killed each year for their fins,” Managing PartnerJon Butrym said. “We’re proud to partner with this organization to help ensure the sustainability of every shark species.”
Bubba’s 33 Shark Bite is a blend of vodka, coconut rum, blue curacao, Sprite and grenadine. The restaurant is at 16100 N. Arrowhead Fountain Center Drive in Peoria
A multi-disciplinary nonprofit 501(c)(3) scientific research organization, the Shark Research Institute was founded in 1991 as the first shark conservation organization in the U.S.
Today, the organization has field offices in Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas, and internationally in Australia, Canada, Ecuador, Honduras, India, Mexico, Mozambique, Seychelles, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
