Jackson Day first went to a friend’s birthday party at a rock climbing gym when he was 8 years old and has climbed to new heights since then.
At 10, he started rock climbing competitively, and by 15 he’s has podiumed in 15 regional or divisional championship events, including four regional titles and two divisional titles. He has competed at the USA Climbing Youth National Championships for the past four years and has finished on the podium twice.
This year will be his third year on the USA Climbing Youth National Team. He was also an alternate on the national team this year to go to the world championships.
