Scottsdale Philharmonic Symphony Executive Director Joy Partridge was devastated to learn the Phoenix Symphony has shut down and laid off its musicians for lack of funding.

The Scottsdale Philharmonic, on the other hand, has a different story to tell, as Partridge says it’s “thriving.”
