Doghouse design contest returns to Scottsdale, benefits vulnerable animals in the Valley

Design for Dogs is returning to Scottsdale this February.

The event takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Facings of America Showroom at 16421 N. 90th St. on Feb. 20, according to a press release. The event brings together 11 teams of local architects, home builders and interior designers to create custom doghouses that will be donated to benefit the Arizona Animal Welfare League.

The doghouses will be auctioned off at the event, with proceeds supporting AAWL’s rural rescue efforts, a low-cost community vet clinic, adoption support resources, dog training and more.
