Barrett-Jackson breaks record charity car sale

The Barrett-Jackson auto show runs through Aug. 25 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N Pima Road.

The world famous auction of rare cars has already set a record for a charity sale with a $3.7 million purchase of the first retail production 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (VIN 001), according to a press release. Rick Hendrick purchased the car, with the proceeds going to the American Red Cross.

But there are plenty more cars for sale, and some of the most exotic will go up for auction on Jan. 23-24 as part of the Super Saturday program. It will include cars like a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe, a 2019 McLaren Senna and a 2023 Ferrari SF 90 Stradale.
