Slick City Action Park officially opens in Queen Creek

Slick City Action Park celebrated the official grand opening of its new location in Queen Creek with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The ceremony took place on Feb. 12 with Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley, Queen Creek Town Council Member Bryan McClure, the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, local business owners, staff and owners on hand.

Slick City Action Park is located at 7225 S. Power Road on the northeast corner of Power and Rittenhouse roads. The park opened to the public on Jan. 22.

Slick City Action Park is an indoor slide and air court park, offering 10 to 15 dry slides, a state-of-the-art Sport Air Court and a Junior Jungle designed specifically for those under 45 inches tall. In addition, a cafe and a large party space for birthdays and corporate events can be booked.

The park offers programs for all ages from adult-only nights, Family Fun Day on Wednesdays, BOGO Thursday and Homeschool socials on Fridays, according to a chamber press release.

"We are so excited to be joining this fantastic community out here. We are ready to bring the thrill to Queen Creek. Most importantly, we are excited to give back," stated Jack Stooks, co-owner of Slick City Action Park Queen Creek, in the release.

As part of its ribbon-cutting ceremony, the park presented a $1,500 check to the Boys and Girls Club of San Tan.

"Slick City Action Park is perfect for Queen Creek,” Wheatley stated in the release. “We have such a great demographic here, young families, and they always need something to do.

“I'm so excited to have this in our community for our residents and region. It brings economic vitality to the area, it brings jobs, and it is such a fun amenity for our residents."
