A single mother of six from San Tan Valley has received a major treat this Halloween.
Martha Rose is the winner of Semper Fi Heating & Cooling’s Halloween AC Unit Giveaway.
Rose’s air conditioning unit had stopped working, so she and a neighbor “have been doing everything they can to keep the unit running with temporary fixes, but she was reaching a point where she feared she might have to resort to window units or find another solution,” according to a press release.
“Martha comes from a family of veterans, and when she found out she was our winner, she was beyond excited,” the release continued. “She shared that she never wins anything, which makes this moment even more special.”
A team from Semper Fi rolled up to Rose’s house on Wednesday with her new air condition unit and installed it for her.
“We are so grateful for the opportunity to make a difference for Martha and her family and bring some much-needed relief and peace of mind to their home,” the release stated.
