Queen Creek now offers online special event permitting

Posted

Queen Creek residents who want to host a special event or block party can now go through the entire application online.

The town has implemented a new special event software called Eproval to streamline the application process. Special events office staff, as well as the online platform, will assist in navigating the planning and permitting requirements necessary to hold an event.

“Moving to a fully digital process helps enhance efficiencies and improve the user experience,” a town press release stated.

For major special events, an application must be submitted at least 60 days prior.

The first step of the special event application process is an Intent to Apply submission. This includes the event name, date, location and event details. After the ITA is approved, the applicant can then submit a special event application.

For neighborhood events such as block parties, an application must be submitted at least 10 business days before the event.

For more information about hosting an event in Queen Creek and to submit an application, visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/SpecialEvent.

To submit an application, an online account must be created. Users will be able to view and track their submissions through an online dashboard.
