Summer has one weekend left. Fall officially arrives Tuesday, Sept. 22, but before we start pretending Phoenix is sweater weather, the Valley has one last summer weekend to fill — and this one offers a pretty entertaining way to send the season packing.
There’s October baseball urgency arriving a little early at Chase Field, where the D-backs face the Yankees while celebrating the heroes of 2001. Elsewhere downtown, you can spend Friday night swimming to ABBA or getting an early taste of Oktoberfest with German beer, brats and schnitzel.
