Methods of Madness Dance Theater will combine dance, science fiction and satire in “Glitter & Doom,” an original production at the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix, on stage Aug. 28-30.
Choreographed by artistic director Halley Willcox, the production follows a futuristic search for the secrets of time travel and the possibility of a better future, using ambient sounds and pop music. Methods of Madness performers include JP Alejandro, Leah M. Friedman, Matthew Mendez and Jenny Milani.
The first act will also feature a rotating lineup of guest performers, with different artists appearing at each performance. Scheduled guests include Tranze Danza Contemporánea, Nikhita Sheller, Esteban Rosales, Alicia Nascimento Castro and Candy Jimenez.
