Gilbert residents are invited to search for hidden gnomes, painted rocks and other surprises beginning Sept. 1 in Desert Sky Park.
The hidden treasures will hold a QR code to uncover renderings and amenities that are coming to the park.
The hunt also will showcase the work of local artists, with new art pieces being introduced every 10 days.
The artist feature schedule:
Sept. 1-10 Curt Harris and Heather Coen: This duo has created detailed wood half spheres painted with acrylics, representing the flowers and ladybugs found in Arizona. Their collaborative pieces can also serve as decorative items or paperweights.
Sept. 11-20 Heather Livingstone: Specializing in colorful abstract creations, Livingstone has crafted gnome figurines using silicone molds and colorful acrylic paints.
Sept. 21-30 Donna Finter: Known for her painted designs on natural wood slices and river rocks, Finter's work adds a touch of nature-inspired beauty to the hunt.
The treasure hunt will take place from Sept. 1-30 at Desert Sky Park, 6624 S. Power Road between Pecos and Williams Field roads.
