Paradise Valley opposes state Senate bills banning photo radar enforcement

A bill making its way through the state Senate that aims to ban photo radar enforcement in Arizona has Paradise Valley officials playing defense.

Senate Bill 1019 is sponsored by Sen. Wendy Rogers, R-Flagstaff, and proposes a statewide ban on photo radar enforcement of speeding and red-light running. It is the same bill the state house and senate passed last year. That bill was vetoed by Gov. Katie Hobbs.
