Find your rhythm at Drumming for Wellness in Peoria

Tap into the power of rhythm with Drumming for Wellness, a free 12-week community drumming series beginning Monday, Oct. 5, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Peoria Main Library, 8463 W. Monroe St.

Hosted by Drums Are Life LLC, this uplifting, multigenerational program uses rhythm and movement to support emotional well-being, physical health, creativity and community connection. Each session combines guided rhythmic instruction, group drumming, mindful movement and reflection in a welcoming, inclusive setting.

The program is open to participants of all ages and abilities, including youth, older adults and neurodivergent individuals. Sessions are led by Folade, a Remo Drums-trained HealthRHYTHMS facilitator.
