The Paradise Valley Town Council designated September 2026 as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month during its Sept. 24 meeting.

Mayor Mark Stanton presented a copy of the proclamation to stage 3 ovarian cancer survivor Rachel Sackett Putman.

Stanton thanked Sackett Putman for attending the council meeting and shared statistics about ovarian cancer.
