Paradise Valley resident and volunteer police officer Howard Hecker, who died the week of the Sept. 24 Town Council meeting, was recognized by Councilwoman Ellen Andeen Keller during council comments.

Hecker volunteered with the Paradise Valley Police Department for many years and was hard to miss with how involved in the town he was, Andeen Keller said.

“He was just about everything you could think of,” Andeen Keller said.
