Hunter: Thanks Mayor Jerry

Posted

Last night the Paradise Valley Town Council voted unanimously to implement basic, common sense measures to address health and safety issues at short-term rentals.

Several other measures were passed regarding noise and nuisances that apply to all residences, not just STRs. I’m proud of, and grateful to the Town Council for passing these measures to address unruly and nuisance behaviors that have proliferated in our town recently, and bring back safe neighborhoods and the quality of life in Paradise Valley.

An enormous amount of work went into drafting, vetting and passing these measures.

Credit goes to the entire Town Council, town staff, citizen’s groups and others.

But particular credit goes to Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner who truly championed the issue and worked tirelessly with stakeholders across the board to get this done for the betterment of the town.

Having worked with him regularly for the past two years, his experience, leadership and dedication to Paradise Valley are greatly appreciated. Thanks Mayor Jerry!
