The Mesa Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Mesa Community College and Green Flag Mesa, will host the seventh annual 24 Hour Business Plan Challenge on Friday, Oct. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 10, bringing aspiring entrepreneurs, business professionals, educators and community leaders together for an intensive entrepreneurial experience.
The challenge will take place at Mesa Community College’s Southern and Dobson Campus in the Entrepreneur Center, where participants will have 24 hours to develop a comprehensive business plan for a new or existing business, according to a release.
The event is designed to give participants the opportunity to turn business ideas into actionable plans while receiving guidance and support from experienced professionals and industry mentors.
The event will begin with an opening reception from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, followed by the official start of the 24-hour challenge at 6 p.m. The competition will conclude at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. At the conclusion of the challenge, plans will be evaluated by a panel of business and education professionals, with the top participant receiving a cash prize.
Meals, snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the event to help fuel participants as they work through the challenge. Food and beverage sponsors include Papa Johns, Renegade Coffee, Dog Haus Biergarten, Capriotti’s and Mesa Business Builder.
