West Valley PD seeks public help in arson case

Posted

The Buckeye Police Department is looking for help identifying two people of interest caught on camera moments before an arson that occurred in August.

The incident happened at a home on Gregory Road near the intersection of Apache and Broadway. Two vehicles and a garage door were damaged, police said.

At 10:12 p.m. that same night, a doorbell camera captured a male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and shorts walking west toward the victim’s home and then appearing to throw something, according to a Buckeye Police Department release.

“A minute later, he’s followed by a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. The two are then seen walking back eastbound and out of the camera’s view,” the release stated.
